Introduction
Cooke Optics Ltd. is an Academy Awards® winning camera lens manufacturing company based in Leicester. Cooke Optics have a long history in Hollywood, being used on many classic films including The Wizard of Oz (1939), Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Godfather Part II (1974), and Star Wars (1977).
Cooke Optics went through a significant marketing rebranding process, with the purposes of marketing their existing lens range and showcasing new ones to compete in the modern era of filmmaking.
We were tasked with taking the existing product CAD files and converting them to premium photoreal images and videos, showing-off Cooke’s lenses in the most beautiful way.
Generating these kinds of images in a photography or video shoot setting can be tricky due to lengthy processes of setting up studio environments, and filming video sequences.
With CGI we are very quickly able to establish a process and generate a number of specifically chosen angled images and video sequences, supporting a large range of products. We are also able to make the lighting work exactly as Cooke wanted, showcasing their best products efficiently and at a lesser cost.
