Explainer Animation

Explaining a Unique Process

Modulek’s unique timeline process allows them to design, deliver and construct a fully operational building in half the time of a traditional build. To help communicate this competitive advantage, Modulek asked us to create an animated explainer video that could clearly show how their fast and highly coordinated construction method works across the education, sports and commercial sectors.

The goal was to produce a simple, visually engaging animated explainer video that breaks down a complex, multi-layered process into an easy to follow story. With so many activities happening simultaneously and interdependently, an explainer animation offers the ideal format because it can reveal information step by step, guiding the viewer through each stage without overwhelming them.

It also allows us to illustrate things that would be difficult or impossible to capture through live action, such as modular components being assembled in parallel, precise logistics, and the internal workflow that drives their accelerated delivery timelines.

By visualising the process from start to finish, the animation helps potential customers immediately understand how Modulek achieves such rapid turnaround times while maintaining quality and structural integrity.

This clarity not only supports early engagement but also builds confidence, demonstrating that Modulek provides one of the fastest and most dependable building solutions available. An explainer animation brings their value proposition to life in a way that is memorable, accessible and persuasive

Animated Explainer Video – What we did

  • We drafted a script that takes the customer from a building dilemma to a required building solution
  • Milestone activities are visualized along a timeline.
  • The building process is outlined in an almost iconic way while we follow the client Modulek experts and builders going about their tasks.
  • The animation uses a mix of 2D pop-up character animation in a 3D space, which aligns the building itself.
  • The clear style combined with gentle warm colours communicates the Modulek’s expert service that is paired with personal guidance throughout the building process.

The animation shows in an easy and comprehensive way how Modulek offers a unique modular building solution that can be delivered extremely fast and cost effectively and how they offer bespoke answers to building challenges often faced in traditional builds, inside and outside.

The video ends on a zoomed out view of the entire production path and timeline, recalling the entire journey from he idea to the constructed building, split into 3 easy to understand time phases.
